Continued from the portraits I posted~
Up next are some witnesses, which are Val Anatine and Father Iggy Norance. Val is the owner of the local inn, Rendezvous, where the victim and defendant were staying at. Father Norance is the priest at the Blackmourn Church within town. Both are long time friends, and witnesses at different points during the trial.
Val has a notable accent in my head, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be southern or some kind of Brooklyn/Long Island one. I think the one I'm thinking of is southern since she calls people sweetie and honey a lot.
As for Norance, I kinda struggled with his design. I still think it's too plain, but at the same time I don't want it to be really flashy or strange. He's just a kind old dude that'll sometimes annoy you with bible quotes. He's also supposed to be a red herring as you meet him first before the culprit and he mentions he's having his assistant help the police out.
I don't like making old characters very much, but I wanted to try making some anyway. Most of what I hear on making old characters old is to just increase the number lines on the face, so hopefully these two look like they're older.
