At some point I started working on a TTRPG, Stelladeos, with some friends for kicks. The Kobold of this world are basically snake cats, with the Venix being the most snake-like. They have long necks, sharp claws, and a love for developing steamtech. They are the founders of the Machinist Order faction, of which they share with the Dwarves. A particular interest of the Kobold is to develop a piece of tech that becomes the Mechanist Standard in its field. To achieve such a lofty goal is the highest honor that can be granted to a member of the Order as a whole.

Venix are pretty easy to identify by their fatter tails and red scales.
