A D&D character I made back at 2022, for my uni's D&D guild's Westmarch campaign.
They're a warforged bard that looks like a porcelain doll.
I was heavily inspired by vintage fashion, ball-jointed dolls, and shironuri when I designed them; whilst listening to Cocteau Twins.
I'll yap about Elis but I'll try my best to summarise them:
Formerly a battle unit, then recycled into a former guard.
Over time, under the care of a family of artists they were tasked to protect, they eventually appreciated the arts and the life they were given instead of the life they were created for.
Now, they've decided to explore the world as a bard and express their feelings and freedom through music.
Elis plays the hurdy-gurdy and has an ethereal singing voice.
Outside of music and helping people, they love flowers/plant life, making macarons, as well as sketching & painting their own works.
While all these things are simple to some, they mean so much to Elis when they learn to understand their own emotions and themselves as an individual.
And thus, they want to express themselves and their emotions through their art.
They've made friends during their adventures, fought some enemies, and is in a loving relationship with an elven rogue, who's a dancer and fellow artist.
They're both each other's muse and help each other with their works.
Additionally, outside of adventuring, they both love to spend quality time with each other.
But yeah, I had a lot of fun playing this character :)
