So i was watching ordinary sausage's recent video where he puts dried lavender in a sausage, in the video he says that the sausage tastes like poison and someone in the comments made a joke about lavender town syndrome because of this (saying that he caught "lavender sausage syndrome") i saw this and thought "oh yeah lavender town syndrome is a thing....and i have an MLP OC named lavender merengue!!! I should draw something based on this!!" So here it is :P

I used to watch the youtuber LavenderTowne a LOT when i was younger (as you could probably tell considering my art style was inspired by hers) so ngl everytime i talk about lavender town (the pokemon thing) i always get this urge to add the E at the end of "town" lol.

Also idk if this is a hot take or not but a lot of the twitter drama surrounding LavenderTowne is/was just thinly veiled misogyny tbh, i genuinely don't think people would've been THAT mad if a MAN made general art advice videos, ACCIDENTALLY used the wrong lesbian flag in an art piece, made an inappropiate comment on a genshin impact character WITHOUT knowing their age, didn't put """enough""" skin color options in a picrew even though there WERE dark skin options, ACCIDENTALLY made someone's OC too pale in a DTIYS challenge even though LITERALLY NOBODY CALLING HER OUT ON THAT KNEW IF THAT OC WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OF COLOR OR IF THE OG ARTIST WAS EVEN UPSET BY HER REDRAW, gijinka'd the 21 ammendments to educate people during the height of the BLM riots OR made a video poorly criticizing hazbin hotel's character designs.
