Back when i was first conceptualizing yuriko, i had this idea of giving her a drill ponytail but i decided against it in favour of the wolfcut she usually wears...that and she's a celesgami fankid and i felt that giving her a drill hairstyle like celeste would be too on-the-nose. I see this often with MLP fankids where they just make the characters' hair fusions of their parents' hair, for example: a sparity fankid (which is a fucking gross ship by itself but that's besides the point) having a shaggier version of rarity's coily hair with some green in it and IMO half the time it just looks forced.

Anyway, i thought it'd be interesting to see what it'd look like if i actually DID choose the ponytail so here's this!!! Looks pretty cute ngl, though it's a lil too fun and bouncy and doesn't match yuriko's "sad and bored all the time" personality.
