a soft-spoken, insecure tom. despite his insistence that he isn't that great, his skills in scouting, investigating, and analyzation are valued by Harmonyclan. in his old clan, his parents left him with his uncle to go roaming the world, leading to him growing a strong bitterness towards them. his uncle, who was his mentor and parental figure, taught him everything he knew about investigating and scouting in the clan.

an incident occurred in the clan where a clan member's family was killed. although the killer was quickly found out, the killer turned up dead as well before they could be exiled. Sleuthheart, then Sleuthpaw, was miraculously able to solve the murder, the clan member whose family was murdered to be the culprit. they were exiled for seeking revenge, but not without them giving Sleuthpaw a hateful, burning glare that stayed with him for as long as he can remember.

he was then made a warrior early and given the name Sleuthheart, and was guaranteed a future as deputy. he didn't want this, and so he made the tough decision to leave the clan, but not without promising to see his uncle again. he doesn't like the name Sleuthheart, but he eventually grows into it as he gets more confident.

he is close friends with Moondapple, Scarletglare, and Harmonystar, who seems to take special interest in him.
