Part of my PLUR Is Magic series.

Although the butterfly symbol isn't super commonly used in Misty's character arc apart from her cutie mark, it's still effective as it's symbolic of Misty coming out of her shell under Opaline's shadow, and spreading her wings. Thus I used that as the foundation for her rave outfit, and I absolutely love out it turned out.

I wanted this image to resemble her liberation from her past life, like she's letting go of her fear and getting out to experience the word for what it is. Along with the obvious butterfly wing accessory, I wanted a bodysuit specifically, not only because I think they're cute, but it flows well with Misty's design and dance style, but it more effectively portrays her as someone who's embracing herself and the world around her and finding their own happiness. Thus out of all the piece I made for my PLUR Is Magic Series, this is easily my favorite one so far.
