As it turns out, the answer is both!

Just felt like drawing the goopy fella interacting with Jaffa, separate from them for once. Hope this clears up the misunderstanding of being the same character, because Jaffa whilst wants to make friends, the Amalgam wants to eat said friends! Certainly makes coexistence a bit difficult.
