Lux Lucerna is the mutual childhood friend of Stellatus and Floressa who is the one in charge of the agency for gathering information about the Eternal Empire. The agency operates under Stellatus' surname so as to be seen as more threatening by them. He worked for the Eternal Empire for 30 tempuses after being blackmailed into joining them while searching for Floressa a month after her disappearance and then having his memories muddied.

He remembered that Floressa was important to him, but very little about the details. He was led to believe he was funding her treatment for some rare condition. He did a range of crimes for the Eternal Empire for this purpose, in part out of respect for his boss, Rubidus Vinum, who he had thought was his friend. On some level, he sees part of the reason he runs the agency as to make up for what he did those 30 tempuses. He ranked high enough in the Eternal Empire to know quite a bit about their hierarchy, which also made him a logical choice to lead the agency out of the trio. Floressa helps screen agents through her ability to see souls though, which prevents Eternal Empire agents from infiltrating the agency.

Stellatus approached Lux in such a way that he immediately remembered who he was. Leading up to that point, a switch flipped on in Stellatus that made the way he broke Lux out anything but stealthy.
