*The ancient witch queen had taken many apprentices throughout her long career. Her current apprentice, the aspiring sorceress who accidentally awakened her from her centuries-long hibernation, was quickly proving to be her favorite of them all. On this day, the promising student of the arcane arts would learn an ability few had the aptitude to pull off. Three volunteers within the coven allowed themselves to be turned to stone and have their souls used as the medium to open a rift between the mortal world and the psychic realm. Though the student struggled at first, the rift of pure psychic energy from the realm beyond began to tear open. As she struggled to pry it open wider, her master watched and smiled, proud of how far her young prodigal had already come. *
A follow-up to this thing I made for Halloween ages ago. I just really love the dynamic between these two and want to do a part 3 sometime.
