Asante, when she was younger, used to love stargazing. Her brothers often snuck her out to go to her favourite stargazing fields. The sky was clear as can be. Sometimes she cried from how beautiful it was. Back then, she'd already decided she wanted to take her own pups stargazing one day too. As life will have it, she only ended up with one pup, one she loved very dearly. Little Janja was a mischievous child for sure, crafty and a troublemaker at times. But even he went still every time he lay huddled between his mother's paws, staring up into the sky. Sometimes comets would pass by. Those were his favourite nights. Especially so that one night they always called the "big crossing", when so many shooting stars crossed the sky that it lit up like a thousand fireflies and more. Even when he fell asleep he could still see them behind closed eyes.
And Asante, awe-struck and amazed as ever, always looked down upon her favourite star of all, and cried at how beautiful he was.
Surprise, surprise, motivation did kick in and this didn't even take as long as I thought it would. So here you have colored and rendered Janja during one of the shooting star nights. Really honestly proud of this one, I didn't think it would turn out as good as it did, hope you enjoy it too!
Have a nice day or night wherever you are, and don't forget comments are highly appreciated!
