i'm honestly not too fussed about what it might be this year! i'm just excited for the teams to be revealed so i can draw my page art! i do really like arctic vs tropic and rain vs shine though

i love getting couple art with my partner's ocs, or when people have clearly read the character bio (i.e including plushies/props of the OC's interests or drawing them doing their job/hobby)

i've been really on and off with artfight the past few years for a Lot of reasons, but hopefully i'll bump my activity up to like a 7 this year!

ouuu this is hard to choose.. i do lean slightly more towards digital but i love both! my physical sketchbook is a place to experiment and learn whereas my digital art is moreso for finished pieces and owed work
Original concepts/characters OR fanart/canon characters?
both don't make me choose T_T;;
Original fiction OR fanfiction?
generally i'm more likely to enjoy original fiction more! but i still enjoy fanfic, i just read it less nowadays
Sketch OR lineart?
sketch... i love my lineart process right now but lineart can't shine without a strong sketch

colouring but this is kinda the same step to me nowadays bc i produce less shaded work

handwritten i guess...? it's a png i put over my work that i designed myself :P

i like being able to zoom in on my work so i'm like 10 times more likely to add a filter

i generally prefer my cleaner stuff but my definition of "clean" is very loose nowadays!

i love working with bright vibrant hues! i do still enjoy muted palettes though

i think low poly models are so charming and nostalgic so i prefer them

generally i prefer video essays or commentary videos but im usually listening to some kind of music at least somewhere in my process :P

my first fursona was called bubblegum berry and she was a pink cat. she has a toyhouse you can view here; https://toyhou.se/25023715.bubblegum-berry and she represents the online space and online friends i had at the time that got me through some really hard things in my life

i have multiple fursonas now and they each represent different elements of my personality! i love them all a lot and

there was a period of time in my life where i made much more traditional art than digital, i hoarded art supplies and ran through sketchbooks like crazy. i really miss it and i'm trying to get back into traditional sketchbooking now
What/who do you think has influenced your art style the most?
mlp fim, lps, pokemon, and so many toys and games i grew up with
What/who inspired you to be an artist?
mlp inspired me because i loved to design my own pony ocs! i started out designing family members for canon ponies :P

programs; csp. i love you csp. brushes; csp default textured pen >>>>>. traditional supplies; fineliners, brush pens, water based markers, post-it notes. other; an album to listen to or a video essay
What improvements have you made recently?
i think my anatomy is slowly improving as well as my colour choices and perspective skills!
What steps would you like to take in the future?
i wanna get better with background and draw more varied faces, and get better at drawing different types of animals :3

depends on how little we're talking! my wip story Codename Whiskers is based on a story i wrote when i was in primary school called "The Stardust Spies" idk why they were called that. there was no stardust in the story.
and my wip story/headworld Timberport started development when i was 13! those characters are like 10 years old now woah O_O and yet im not doing shit with them.. oops

i used to post like 10% of the stuff i make, but now that im doing better mentally i'd say maybe 80-85%! happy to be back

i try to stretch but my ass will be forgetting. i also try to get up and walk around a bit before, during and after but it depends on how hyperfocused i get

im sooo bad at remembering to warm up when i do, but i'll doodle ocs or a little fanart!

i took part in a few fandom zines, including one crossing over animal crossing and pokemon, and one celebrating childhood toys! i also got to be part of an anthology a close friend of mine hosted last year! i probably won't be able to take part in another zine/anthology for a while but i'd really like to when i have the time again!
Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically
tbh i think everything i consume inspires me in some way! if it doesn't inspire my art style it inspires my storytelling/character writing, and if it's media that i think is bad or that i don't enjoy, i take it as a lesson/a "what not to do"!
