January 2022. Started as a funny comic strip, this drawing gave me more plot ideas and concepts
"...At that moment I wanted to leave everything as is and go like others did, hoping that crazy robot (a reason of a chaos at the test site in the adjoining room) will discharge its batteries and turn off. But the sudden support appearance stopped me.
"You have no a half of your muzzle."
"Beta?!"
His joke was pretty close to truth: Echis was damaged, few parts of its manipulator were absent and there was a ragged hole instead of the right optic sensors module. Because of the whole mess happened, I didn't noticed how and when Beta got into a room where was I, and I also didn't noticed his Gjurza revealed itself next to Echis when used my robot's remaining "eye" to find at least something in dust and smoke.
"What's goi..." Beta wanted to ask, but didn't finish the phrase.
When emergency fire safety and ventilation systems turned on and clouds of smoke started to dissapear, we noticed contours of a machine looked like a bunch of tentacles and manipulators. And then its monstrous "eye" loomed over and stared at us (rather, at our robots).
"What the hell!!!" my friend shouted.
"When will you freaking die, bloody chthonic thing?!!" I've got finally pissed off."
