The pet bird theme.
I decided to go out of the search actual bird species and use Thunderbird, since from the whole winged machinery in the story, Thunder is a real pet bird of Null city RI.
Thunderbird is also the only robot at RI that regularly leaves the its territory, for example, to escort employees.
His visual characteristics was originally (in March, 2022) based on swallows, cranes and hawks, but later I noticed the robot looks similar to the swallow-tailed kite, except for head and neck (in the story canon, the main manipulator taken from completely different than "bird" kind of robot), so mixed exact swallow-tailed kite and crane designs more obviously.
For the massive statue Thunder is perched on, it's based on the "Man the Creator" statue from the city I live
