that's right, more character design art
Captain Scarlet is the tabaxi (she/her)
and Iolas (iolas, not lolas cause I know the can be hard to read) is the vaguely half-elf looking humanoid (he/him)
the Siren of the Sword Coast and her strange sorcerer that she keeps around
I've been obsessed with the idea of a tabaxi pirate so when I was making a campaign where my players were pirates who were sent to the Hells by their captain, I finally got to make my wish come true
the problem I've run into is that some of my players love her a bit too much and are already willing to forgive her for her crimes, despite the plot of the campaign revolving around the fact that she sold them off to some devils for reasons that are still a secret
Iolas is a selkie (based loosely off a harp seal)
which in D&D lore are sealweres (seals who turn into humanoids rather than humanoids who turn into seals) and I did have to update them into 5th edition because I could only find them up to 3e
he was not my first plan for a character to keep the players on track (not railroading, but more being there to make suggestions when players get stuck on what to do) but there was a demand for more pathetic/weird NPCs because my players love them so much
so I had to swap the first guy with Iolas
