totally didn't forget to upload here in a while

granted most my art has been references for characters, this one being no exception
but I wanted to share one of my favorite recent D&D patrons I designed

my attempt at a Great Old One patron
just a strange thing that feels drawn to the wishes and wants of mortals and offers some of its power. However, it gives this perhaps a bit too freely as it doesn't really seem to care about one's intentions. Just the strength of someone's want for more.

some say if you stand too close to it, you can feel hundreds, if not thousands, unseen hands grasping and pulling at you
and looking at it with any sort of truesight is said to cause madness

I do plan on drawing it again it's just hard to come up with ideas off the top of my head for a creature that doesn't really have poses or emotions and doesn't talk
