lostberry. A very recognizable plant, resembling a kraken's tentacle, it is easily remembered for what it is: an edible berry, although very sour. It's name comes from the desperate lost surviving until they've found a town, as lostberry is a very common plant seen all over Annei. Since the berries are as sour as they are, theyre often only eaten raw to survive, however when fermented they can be brewn into a drink with a good bite.
the leaf spine and main stem spine are both covered in small barbs, the flowers have a pleasant, sweet smell. each berry has a single seed.
