If enough people from this site were to team up, they could easily produce some fantastic animations. I say this not merely because so many people are producing animations - it's the simplified artwork. The single truth of producing moving images - especially on a no/low budget basis - is that the story is the first priority - the effects are the second priority. This is because the effects are used to tell a story, which must exist in the first place. The simple artwork allows for the story-focus.
Why hasn't this happened already? Well, I've deduced that what most of the animators on this site really need right now are more stories which can be adapted and turned into animations.
I'm going to submit one of my more amusing comedy stories, (well, Omi found it funny anyway) in the next few days, which I welcome animators on the site to turn into an animation. I'd love to see more people doing this too.
Why am I doing this? I think if we really want this site to have something more than the original Sheezy, it is to turn the talent on this site into some sort of career progression. That's what the original Sheezyart lacked, and the current projection of this site. Amazing artwork and thoughtful concepts are something still missing on this site - if this site starts churning out some impressive content - there are no limits as to how far this community can potentially go.
This new site has the tools to enable this to happen - it is perfectly equipped to showcase something amazing.
Edit: I've now uploaded the first chapter which Sheezyart animators are free to turn into an animation here: https://sheezy.art/kwijiboenator/gallery/duff-bumpers-chapter-1
I look forward to seeing some animated adaptions from the first chapter. :)
