Hey y'all! Just wanted to let you know that my commissions are OPEN!!
I'm currently trying to save up as much as I can for some special things, like Christmas presents for my family and maybe a new phone or other stuff lol. I also want to do my best to prevent personal art-block (which I’m kinda having right now), so yeah ^^
I know I keep raving about commissions on almost all my socials, I'm sorryy lol, but honestly, this is a life-changing experience for me. Now that I finally have a bank account set up and a debit card delivered, I feel like I’m finally able to pursue this seriously. I've been dreaming of doing this kind of work since I was around 14 or 15, and now I finally have the chance to make it happen.
My commissions are available on Ko-fi and Artistree, and I am ONLY accepting PayPal for payment. When commissioning, please be sure to send in YOUR OWN art so I can verify it and ensure that I’m not being scammed.
Thank you!! :3
If any of you are into NSFW or sexual stuff, that’s perfectly fine. But please remember, there are clear rules and boundaries when it comes to doing NSFW or sexual things, whether you're online or in person.
You might have seen how proshipping and the sexualization of minors or feral animals have become so normalized in the public. It’s no wonder they get called out so often. These topics are serious and get called out for a HUGE reason!!
According to federal law, it is illegal to maintain the possession of child pornography, engage in bestiality, and similar activities. These laws exist because topics like those causes real harm to the public; exploiting and abusing vulnerable people or animals is morally wrong to everyone involved.
Some people even try to say that being an MAP (Minor Attracted Person) or zoophile counts as a valid sexuality and that it’s part of the LGBT community. I’m personally a female ace ally, and I am chill with anyone's orientation or gender, but justifying illegal topics like pedophilia or bestiality with factoids and active denial does NOT qualify as freedom of speech, when those topics involve harming others.
And here’s an important reminder: NSFW topics are ONLY for adults to look at and discuss. They are not for minors!! Just because sex is a natural part of life, and kids are growing up and hitting puberty, doesn’t mean that it’s still okay to talk about NSFW stuff with minors. That stuff once again, is illegal!!
Not to mention, sexual topics have become so widely accepted by the public, that the majority of people nowadays tend to falsely accuse certain topics, like agere content, as “problematic.” I’ve personally experienced situations where LEGIT minors thought it was okay to engage in sex-talk in Discord servers I was in, when I started using Discord (I was 14), while at the same time, they would bash on me for posting content or art that wasn’t intentionally sexual, like eggs hatching, baby stuff, or agere content.
If that stuff was truly sexual to begin with, my mother would’ve sent me to jail. I show my mother and my family my art that I draw and post online; and yes, she does knows what fetishes are, but she knows I don’t mean any real harm behind any of my works, and she monitors what I do or draw online (even to this day).
So again, there is nothing inherently wrong about liking NSFW or sexual topics, but please don’t try to justify or normalize harmful or illegal content and/or try to engage in NSFW as a minor. And one more thing: please do not engage in any NSFW or sexual talk with me. It personally makes me feel very queasy and uncomfortable, even as an adult. Protecting minors and/or adults that don't like sexual stuff, from harmful or sexual content is everyone’s responsibility.
One thing you need to know when becoming an artist..
NEVER! ! GIVE UP! ON YOUR! CREATIVITY!!! I know it's easy to look at your work and think it looks 'ugly and cringe as crap' or not good enough, but trust me, you are genuinely blessing people with what you create. Every piece you make is a step in the right direction. By practicing different techniques, you are actively improving your skills. Don't let self-doubt stop your progress; keep that pencil/pen/tablet/mouse moving!
You are free to explore and find the art style that truly fits your preference. You are free to experiment with different styles until you discover the one that feels right for you. Once you find it, you can nurture and maintain it for as long as you want. Your unique style is what makes your art special, so cherish and develop it.
To be a true artist, it's best that you put genuine effort into your works and respect other artists. This means avoiding tracing others' work and claiming it as your own (it's okay to do it for personal practice, but tracing and then claiming the 'art' is yours is a no-no.), straight-up re-uploading someone else’s art without credit or fair use, or relying on AI tools. AI does not promote genuine creativity and is a bad influence on REAL artists out there. Instead, search for quick tutorials on simple techniques, try drawing things by memory, or just dive in and experiment. Your own effort is what makes your art valuable.
You should draw anything and everything that brings you joy! Art is a thing to express freely; part of the first amendment. However, please be careful with what you draw and avoid creating content that involves genuinely problematic topics or promotes illegal activities. Laws that prohibit such topics exist for a REAL reason, so please abide by them at all times.
Become the artist you are meant to be. Do what makes you happy. Don't feel pressured to force yourself into participating in every trending art challenge or following certain viral aesthetics just because everyone else is. Your goal is to have fun and be yourself. You are unique in your own way, and that uniqueness is your greatest asset as an artist. Keep creating and have fun!!~
After many months of waiting, I finally have a bank account of my very own!! Thanks to my mother, she helped me set up one after scheduling an appointment at our local bank for today at 9 in the morning, and I am so happyyy omgg! >w<
Now I have a real, proper place to put the money I make from commissions and donations from my pages and I can finally start bringing home the bacon!
I have to be careful about the money I make however.. I need to make sure to spend it right, on things I must buy, and also on my family. Like rn, my current goal is on Ko-fi; I want to raise $350 or more so I can buy my family Christmas gifts this year. I've never bought them gifts myself before, but I really want to participate in the spirit of Christmas by giving and to be kind and generous; this would feel very nice for a change.
My commissions and donations are open right now. If you want to check out my art, please go look at my Ko-fi or Artistree pages! Commissioning me or donating me is not required, but highly recommended and really appreciated. Thank you!! :3
