Hey guys! Here's a little of something most people don't know about me doing art... I don't normally do representational art. I've done some in the past, but it's not my usual go-to type. Mostly because I love using my imagination when I create something, which art like that makes me feel limited on what I can do/place. But for this particular time, my dad's old friend came by one day at my house and he brought his best friend, Cooper. He told me that Cooper's a Chocolate Labrador. I was fascinated by his physical appearance that I actually wanted to draw him and that's what I did! He was laying down on this position and I took a picture of him from my phone. Then I started drawing him down, starting with pencil and outlined him with marker. I started to play around with different shades and tones of brown from my Prismacolor colored pencils... it actually turned out much nicer than I thought because I don't focus too much on shading and I thought everything was too dark. But overall, it turned out excellent! I was even impressed with the abilities I had when doing something like that. When I showed this to my dad's old friend a couple days later, he said it was beautiful! That made me feel great as an artist. And with that, I hope I can do another one like this in the future. :-)
