Here's a painting I've done in the past. This was made for an art class and we had to make a painting that plays with some complimentary colors (colors that are across from each other on a color wheel). For this particular one, I chose red and green. But I did this slightly differently. Rather than red and green, I did "pink" and green instead, since pink is part of the red family. I did a lot of combinations with the two colors, playing around with their shades and tones. Here comes the best part... abstract equals imagination! So I just let my mind play around with the placements of all those empty blank spaces and this was the final result. My instructor thought it looks very different and unique because there's no sign of red and just focused on a wide range of pink. Thus, I say this was one of the best abstract paintings I've ever done! :-D
