I forgot to mention (and also put it on my profile page) but I specifically signed up for buzzly.art because I never stop having hope that I can escape using twitter as my main place I guess
here is my page
There's nothing there right now since customization is a whole ordeal to go through, and I don't feel like dropping all my pieces there until my page looks nice, but I will start soon and try to use the site since it's the next best thing I've seen
I want to make it clear that I don't think poorly of it so far or anything. I'm loving the filter systems and categories, and it shows good promise. I would've signed up for it a bit ago, but I had already gotten on here and didn't feel like balancing 2 new things at once. Figured I'd check it out later if I felt up to it, but probably wouldn't need it anytime soon. Oops
Anyway, it seems decent aside from making me learn how to do basic customization writing myself, and being in beta so a lot of features aren't in yet. If you're also taking the gamble, I'll probably follow back (unless you only/mostly do explicit content, or specific fandom stuff that I just am not interested in myself. Doesn't seem fair to anyone to follow people whose art I just won't end up interacting with)
I hope this one lasts a while at least. and I hope it doesn't sound like I'm throwing shade at sheezy, because I respect the decisions and understand how impossible being a solo dev would be. just very sad to see it go and worried about what it means for any sites like it in the future. won't stop me from signing up and putting my time into them though, because dammit the internet just wont feel like home until we can find somewhere like that again
if any of you want to keep up with me somehow I guess you'll have to pick a different place for it
it was fun while it lasted
