I hear we're trying to make journal memes a thing again??? 👀

I used to fill those out allllll the time I am SO down with that. I got this one from here!!

1: Have you ever smoked, drank, or do anything bad behind your family?

Nah. I'm pretty uhhh....what's the word....I've never been interested in that sort of thing. Probably for the best for me tbh

2: What's a dream vacation to you?

Cabin by a lake!! And it's fall!!

3: Ever broken a bone?

Nope! I grew up being the most timid little creature. I was afraid of getting scrapes, let alone breaking anything. And as an adult the opportunity doesn't present itself as much for me, haha. Never say never though.

4: If you were to bake or cook anything in the world without it being a hassle, what would it be?

Ohhhh goshhh like as just a one off thing or a power I will have anytime I want that item? Part of me wants to say pumpkin roll, but only if it's a forever power. And even then I feel I should be more practical and pick a dinner dish of some kind. Maybe chicken casserole or a nice breaded pasta or something?? I'd have to look up a recipe for something really fancy and delicious because my favorite meals are all just mild inconveniences. I don't like cooking in general ;_;

5: What was your first word as a baby?

Probably mom? I think

6: Ever lost something you loved?

Oh yea. Plany of times. If we're limiting it to objects, in recent memories I lost an enamel pin off my bag at an airport :( There's been other things...probably bigger things....but I forget particulars. A scarf I lost in school that nobody ever returned to the lost and found. One of my favorite DS games...etc.

7: Did you ever get sick from covid?

Not to my knowledge. I have not had any illness that seemed remotely like covid yet, but I fear it's only a matter of time even with my precautions. I'll keep trying not to though.

8: And lastly, be honest on this one, did you expect sheezy to come out of it's grave? Or just assumed it to be long gone?

I don't remember the dev ever saying he planned to bring it back when he shelved it, which is understandable because it's scary and hard to get people's hopes up, and then they'll probably bother you about it all the time until it happens which can be aggravating when you need time away to think and plan. So no. I fully expected I would never be writing here again. When the site died I ran straight to buzzly like most others, and when that mostly died I ran back to twitter yet again like many others. And then when that site got worse I opted to only use tumblr as my main again 😭 I never left tumblr but I was split between it and twitter as there truly felt like no other options!

I have a bsky now too but I'm eh about it because it's literally twitter 2. I check it some but it was never going to be home. None of those sites were. All this to say that this year has started off in one of the best possible ways it could have!!!!!! I'm SO excited to be back and I hope we can keep this place around for a while this time =)
