--> "PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SPOILING THE MOVIE, NOT EVERYONE HAS SEEN IT YET, THANK YOU." <--
So a few days ago, i watched the new Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, and i got to say that as a fan since the past decade, this is a triumph legacy to all the fans and follows a conslusion generations later after War, and it's a good setting to follow a new reign, new characters and new clan, also the world looks so beautiful how they set up a nature with a pretty good CGI building in my opinion, and while it's still a little dark-toned n' tragic like the last two movies, it's still a good movie on it's own, not as great as the last two, but it is a faithful premise to the franchise, and the story follows a new protagonist "Noa" set out to rescue his Eagle clan from Proximus Caesar, yeah i know it's kind of bizarre, while he's not the same Caeser like in the trilogy, he is a different character and an antagonist of his empire, and while i liked his quote as seen in the trailer "What a Wonderful Day", but he is unfortunately an Anti-Caesar in my opinion while he's a good villain but no as great likely as War brining the clan to the empire & imprisoning them it is a good concept, now back to Noa, he's one of the lead role who's likable and easy to root for on his journey to save his clan alongside with Raka and Nova, Raka is pretty wise Bornean orangutan as Maurice doing his best telling Noa the teachings of Caesar and... i think he played a good role in this movie, while both followed by a human Nova (or Mae) leading them of where they took their clan, so yeah... the trio going on an adventure to save their clan from Proximus, tho... it's kind of a mix and a coincidence how the clan is likely the same setting as Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, i'm not saying they copied it, it's just a funny coincidence with a same setting different movies, and while they have some good moments with them, it's pretty charming and triumph for it's own story & setting, and the middle kinda drags for me and took the action with less-known characters out i tapped out, until the end where it leaves a satisfying message enough for me to conclude the Planet of the Apes reboot.
Is it good or perfect as the last trilogy? hm... i wouldn't say perfect since some scenes didn't sit well with me, i mean... it's not as perfect as Dune: Part Two and while it's not an emotional complex as Dawn of and War for the Planet of the Apes, but i still really like that movie for all the heart and soul for the fans and it's legacy, it's good, but i'mma give it a 7.8 out of 10 for me, if you want to see this movie, go ahead, i recommend it, and if you already seen it, aaaaah i say see it again.
Oh, i got to see it in ScreenX where it's my first experience ever, i went to Regal UA Galaxy where it has a new film format and i think i didn't know that until now but... seeing this new movie in ScreenX, what do i think about it? well... it's good to say that it's pretty a fantastic experience for the future of theatrical movies filmed by 3 screens, while still limited and likely as IMAX or 4DX format, it's still worth watching it by a 3 screen format, by the way i would recommend it seeing it if you like to see something new in theaters if it's anyone's first time experiencing! :3
That's all i have to say about the new Planet of the Apes movie and a ScreenX experience, have a good day, gonna get back to drawing now since i can't miss out finishing the Dreamcast Collab since i have the last two parts to finish, til' next time!
