Aoiko's quirk gives him a kind of future vision. Similarly to Sir Nighteye's, he sees future but it doesn't focus on one person. When Aoiko's eyes turn glowy blue, by looking ("scanning") the area around him, he can see what will happen for the next 1-2 minutes. He can't see exactly who will do the actions but only some indistinct blue figures. Moreover his vision is clearer and more prolonged during the night.
This ability can be very useful in combat even just as support. So he would love to become a hero even more after learning of Sir Nighteye's exploits as All Might's sidekick and beyond. Knowing that someone with a similar quirk as his had become a pro hero, had urged him a lot.
