Why am I even here??

To support my favorite artists, of course! I've realized that I enjoy supporting artists more than making art myself. My artwork still sucks... but that's okay! "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life," Steve Jobs once said. I'd rather spend time investing in something I'm actually good at (video and music production) rather than waste my days trying to be someone I'm not (a professional illustrator).

The Lion King is my favorite franchise, inspiring me to start drawing in the first place.

I went through reams of tracing paper in my early teens, sketching the characters I loved over and over again. I eventually discovered TLKFAA, a supportive community of Lion King artists creating incredible artwork. Many of the drawings in my sketchbook today were referenced from these talented artists. However, I abandoned art because I convinced myself I would never achieve the same level of skill as these artists. BUT! I've recently had a change of heart and am giving things another shot!
