"You're here, wonderful, let's get something to eat!" Djala looks at you, expectantly with a bashful smile.

The Lovers Festival.
From the 6th and to the 12th of Ire Ana(May).

The Lovers Festival is a festival where zabu make special knots, called the Lovers Knot.
Made with coloured strings relating to the giver's colour palette, it's given to people they love.
It can be a sign of platonic love, or romantic love.
It's normal to wear the knot in their hair, or if on their outfit then on the chest.
These knots can also be sent/given outside of this holiday, as a way to propose a romantic relationship with a special someone.

Children between 10 and 16 are allowed to give each other the Friendship Knot. Which has a simpler design. This knot is not given to family members.
Children are not allowed to give a knot to adults, and are not allowed to receive from adults.

During these days, along with the making and giving of the knot, the temple grounds will also become a festival ground, similar as with the other festivals. Though there will also be special mazes grown in fields, with lanterns, to give it a nice mood for couples who would like to go for walks and have a chance to talk privately.
The dress code is to wear the formal outfits in the evening while in the festival area.
