being in the shovel knight event with the fan knights made me feel so… seen. On another server for a fandom I'm in, with friends, some knowing me for years, I talked so much, interacted so much with my OCs and their OCs and all. But I'm only good at writing. So I felt overlooked. Others got the art. Others got the endless AUs with their characters in them.

In the shovel knight server, I wasn't as popular. But despite that, despite me not being an artist, they liked me. They drew my OC in their art, and I wrote about their OCs in fics. I found new friends! Probably more I can RP with and do more with my characters. Who knows, maybe more!

I know I don't get the spotlight 24/7. I don't want that at all. I hate this feeling, I feel so narcissistic. But when you are overlooked for so long, and now you actually see what you created in other places without you needing to bring them up? That feeling is addicting. It's so fucking addicting I love to see others chat ab OCs and how they joke and think and just everything. I feel seen. I feel seen and my creations are seen.
