Apologies for the crappy photo angle. I had tried to take a shot via mirror while wearing the tail piece, and I'm not great at selfies of any kind.
The tail itself is set up on a belt system and is supported by two strands of fishing wire attached to a bag clip. The "feathers" themselves are a block of foam that I shaped and cut, wrapped in red stretch fabric and detailed with black textured fabric and white paint. The red "feather" block was then glued and stitched to the tail. Testing phases proved the tail can now "wag" on its own as I walk.
Accompanying piece to my Husk mask. Wings are still WIP, but hands and paws (not shown) are also complete.
