for worldbuilding reasons, does anybody have any resources for growing food year-round (but ESPECIALLY during the colder seasons ie autumn and winter). unfortunately my gardening knowledge extends to sometimes being able to identify plants and knowing vaguely how a greenhouse works.

I'm willing to answer questions about my setting if it helps narrow anything down, but its set in the apocalypse so I'm assuming any techniques there are would have to be pretty hands on.
