last thing i completed in 2023 took forever cause i did everything but the lines and sketch in pr*create .. still wish clip had its brush capabilities so i never have to touch the app again also the way i draw mozart is heavily inspired off of my friend slades art of him coalvein on instagram he drew him so bishie it makes me reminisce of an alternate timeline where there was a late 80s shojou anime adaptation of amadeus .. anyways im still obsessed with this movie and the whole play in general i have so much to say about it. i actually watched the national live theatre version of it around a month ago for the first time which was my first exposure to the original play in its entirety - it only made me love it more and i really liked how the play went more into the character exploration, i feel like it was more explicit in portraying salieris dilemma and also didnt shy away from the baggage mozart had to carry being a child prodigy causing his immaturity and dealing with the expectation put onto him since composing is all he really knows .. spiralling into a heavier mental breakdown in the play .. i loved the actors in the play too i wish they had the giant 80's slash powdered wig fusion they had going on in the movie and the overtly stylish costume design w a small sacrifice of slight period inaccuracy. all in all i really love the movie amadeus and the play as well since its based off it yet both are equally as amazing to me also the play is slightly more homoeroti(gunshot)
