This is a scene from the book, where the main character, Matt (on the right), is confronting the main antagonist for the first time. I was very thrilled to make this for my sister, who has written a fantastic novel featuring these characters that I'm absolutely in love with!

Below is some more information on the novel, which will be released next year, and also the book publishing company that my sister and I are starting.

Matt is a vigilante who goes by the alias, "Speedfire." And after he moves to New Harbor, he finds himself facing off with the city's most dangerous criminal, "the sniper." No one knows anything about the sniper, just that they're linked to a string of "casualties" in the Inner Harbor.

Fire in Flight is a dystopian mystery set in the bayside city of New Harbor! It has supernatural and sci-fi elements, heroes, villains, and a slowburn romance!

The book will be coming out May 5, 2026. But it's also getting an early release through Kickstarter in January, so readers can get their hands on a copy by February or March!

Fire in Flight will also be published by Gemini Valley Publishing, which is our new indie press! Gemini Valley publishes speculative fiction titles, and submissions are currently open. Fire in Flight is our first book!
