i have just lost my 55th journal to not looking at the tab i was writing on for a while and then i looked back on it and BOOM it's gone. everything i wrote since this very morning is gone. in a blink Gone (that's a reference to alien stage 👍🏽 good music)... they need to introduce some sort of draft feature but for journals because this is getting heartbreaking. it could be a sort of temporary draft-holding (?) system like ArchiveOfOurOwn's draft system where the drafted journal will disintegrate after like a week... maybe a year so we can rake up sheezy drafts like twitter drafts the way sheemz intended

one could argue it's my fault for not writing my journals on my notes apps first and then pasting it here OR not deciding at any point in the last like at least 7 hours to copy and paste my written masterpiece onto my notes app either... but to do that you also have to admit that the writing box on this site is just way too enticing, it's almost hypnotizing. it's just too good, and we are all too weak to it
