okay back to old Sonic OC art.

i don't do it often, but when i shade i shade. pin-pointing the light source is something i've improved on over the years, but i love how striking this is. this is a redraw of something from 2017, which referenced something i drew back in 2014, so there's some history here! both this and the art it's a redraw of were an attempt at pushing my dynamic posing-- i'd love to do another redraw sometime, and Aile here's in need of an upgrade anyway

(this is Aile the Otter, by the way. he got partially roboticized and joined the Resistance to find out why and hopefully save his friend before the same thing happened to her. i haven't done much with him in ages, but he's one of my favorite OCs.)
