somehow, despite Deltarune coming out at the start of this month and Skyblock Kingdoms season 2 starting like a week ago, the thing that's consumed my attention for the better part of a month is... Friday Night Funkin?

story time: i used to be a big FNF fan back when Week 4 came out, but when public updates went on pause after Week 7 and the modding scene started focusing heavily on creepypasta i lost interest and moved on. years later it turns out there's been huge updates to base game out of nowhere that i totally missed, and suddenly my sketchpage is 75% FNF. oops

yesterday was Make A Terrible Comic Day, which is one of those art holidays i really like the idea of but never actually did. until now! the idea is you sit down and make a comic. that's it. it doesn't matter how "bad" it is, you just turn off your inner critic and draw a comic until the comic's done. and hey, i was already thinking about a make-believe Rescue mod for FNF...

i worry a lot about how people think of me and the things i draw. the internalized cringe response is very real. but drawing this was fun, and i think i really needed it. it's a good reminder that the point of art, for me, is just to have fun with it!
