Originally posted 12/31/25 on Artfol for the Artfolmas challenge. I intended to make it full-color, but I think that at this point I'll simply leave it as it is. I feel like moving on to a new artwork as I've improved my skills. All the same, I thought I'd cross-post it here.

This was a fill for the prompts "Christmas Magic" and "Hot Chocolate"—Sonic realizes his cocoa got cold as he and Princess Elise were looking at Christmas lights. He tries to hide it, but Elise can tell he's disappointed. So she warms it up with her heat powers. This isn't immediately obvious without colors, so now it just looks like he's oddly intrigued by her cocoa! 😆

In-game, Elise isn't shown using her power for anything other than force fields, but it's a popular headcanon that she has leftover heat abilities from her time carrying Iblis. Generally, I prefer Iblis being mainly a source of angst for her, but it's cute for fluffier stuff, so it was perfect for this challenge!
