I am 100 years younger. Time went backwards. I think I switched to a different mortal plane. (It was at least 30 hours of work.)
Size:
6” (15.24cm) tall, 4.5” (11.4cm) long, 2.5” (6.35cm) wide
This was a journey.
A very long and grueling journey.
But I did it.
Something that small taking that much time to make, I’m so happy it is finally done. The head by itself took nearly 6 hours, I wish I was exaggerating. The wool? I wanted to cry. The wool took about 10. Maybe longer because it was about five loops on each individual “curl”. I wanted to curl up and cry, yaknowwhatImean? The body itself used less yarn than the wool before I covered it in wool. The horns?? Both used as much yarn as the body, I was questioning the patternmaker’s sanity by the first hour.
But it was WORTH IT. I wanted to add more but I needed a break. The legs were wonky and couldn’t hold it up at first, so I sewed them together with a tapestry needle. I also got to brush out some of the cotton yarn into roving for the floof around the neck on head. It’s not expert tier but it makes me happy. Whatever was left of the yarn I used became the tail.
I shall call him “Tiny”.
For that is both the size of his stitches, and what remains of my sanity.
