a couple of months ago, during a dream, i suddenly found myself in front of a monitor looking at a bunch of spyro “concept art.” and right before i fully woke up, i caught a glimpse of this design! i knew i wanted to draw him someday, so... here he is!

he’s meant to be a little older in this rendition, a spunky teen spyro who is super confident in himself and his abilities. his heroics are known far and wide, and now he kinda can’t catch a break. good thing he loves what he does!

this dream spyro even came with a free dark spyro form, and my first thought when i woke up was legit “OMG HIS PURPLE SOCKS!!!” LMAO

i do plan on using this design in a future project, but i’ll probably simplify his freckles going forward (ALL of those spots were freckles, seemingly). i just wanted to be faithful to my dream for this pic specifically!
