Hipposideros aka Bat Horses!! I stole their name from a bat genus since "hippo" means horse.

Even though I am an MLP fan, these guys weren't originally inspired by the bat ponies, but instead by the Minecraft Mo' Creatures Mod which had bat horses! I did add some more features to my guys to help make them look less like a horse that got bat wings slapped onto it though.

For their biology; their diet differs quite a bit from the average equine. They are able to consume blood and insects on quite the regular basis! Though they are fully capable of surviving without eating either. Furthermore, they are also able to consume nectar. Their fangs come in a variety of sizes, from so small it’s barely poking out of the mouth to giant and saber-like. In addition, their nose-leaf comes in a variety of different shapes, from pointy to rounded and so on. Alongside Hippocamps, they are one of the only equines that has the ability to echolocate.
