FINALLY finished this one. This piece has been on my back burner since JANUARY. I've been working on an album while also working on this. I needed something to do while listening to droning space noises for two hours.

Ash is a demon of biblical proportions, born from malice and hatred towards those who wronged her. One such person who wronged her was an angel, who was the person who killed her past life in an act of betrayal.

This piece made me realize that this was the first time I've ever painted two different light sources.

3D Model with EXTENSIVE photomanipulation, digital painting, and lighting effects. Hair, horns, tail, are all entirely hand drawn. Well, I say "hand drawn", but this is all done with mouse and keyboard. I don't remember if I've ever said that.
