"If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88mph, you're gonna see some serious shit." - Dr. Emmet Brown ⏲️🚓
I'm doing this art challenge where every day, for the month of June. I design a character based on an somewhat open-ended design brief and try to follow that brief as close as possible. This just is for me to improve my art skills and continue to build my portfolio.
Day 4
Brief:
Female | Time Displacer | Sci-Fi | Dominant Color: Iridescent Blue
At 15 years old, Heather Westman is a gifted inventor, creating inventions that benefit her town and the rest of Continent. After an unexpected run in with Pythia in the Port District of Cape Daedelos, she grows curious to what the visions Pythia saw might have actually meant. Within the span of a weekend (and Monday), she develops a prototype, wearable time machine in hopes of peering into to future and confirm the hypothetical "end times." The device only has enough power to time travel to a certain point and place and time and back followed by a 30-hour recharge period. The device also has a low power consumption mode that slows down time for a brief period. On the first trial run in the Barelands, Heather travels to one-and-a-half years into the future; she comes back horribly mortified...
Shortly after she's approached by a figure wielding two revolvers.
