I'm doing this art challenge where every day, for the month of June. I design a character based on an somewhat open-ended design brief and try to follow that brief as close as possible. This just is for me to improve my art skills and continue to build my portfolio.

18-year-old, Richtor Carnegie, stumbles upon an ancient text, from the Mundai region, at his local university. Taking an interest in the text, he pours hours into reading and studying its contents and even writing some spells and incantations into his notebook. It got to the point where he can perform basic spells at will. He continues to study the text; though unbeknownst to him, his studies caught attend, not from his peers or professors (as a matter of fact they often aid him in his studies), rather the attention of someone far beyond mortal comprehension...
