Repost from August 2021. This one needs a bit of explaining, so bear with me.

In 2014-2015, a group of developers announced work on a would-be new title for the Descent franchise. Unfortunately, for reasons I won't get into here, that game has, to date, never released due to behind the scenes drama, and since dropped the Descent ties anyway.

But during the alpha testing stages of development, the developers posted some potential box art on their forums, which were nice enough, but fans of the project had their own ideas on what the box art should look like and the thread became a place to showcase various fan-made box art for the game. Naturally, I was one of the contributors to that and got some pretty positive feedback from both fan and developer alike.

I ultimate produced over thirty variants, but shown here are the four I felt were the "best" of the bunch, with the "Red" one being the chronologically earliest of the four, and the "Black" one being among the last I posted before the thread ended. They had actually sat on my Sta.sh on DA for years before I remembered they were there in 2021 and opted to share them there, and now I'm reposting them here, so...enjoy.
