I was at a family reunion this past weekend, and got the chance to pull out my watercolor paints and paint a picture with them for the first time in some years now, painting a scene of a tree and a tire swing that happened to be in a little valley running behind the AirBnB house we were staying in for the reunion.

Even though I went into the picture fearing I'd be terribly out of practice, it came back to me quickly, and I walked away from the final picture pretty pleased with how it turned out.

The picture didn't quite fit my scanner, so had to settle for taking a picture of it instead.
