1. No, I will not join artfight and never have. Being frank I struggle to make time to draw or even give myself the mindset to draw for leisure these days. I can't take commissions yet and rarely allow trades since I take too long or never get them done.
2. I tend to focus on quite literally just a few characters, so if you're not into seeing the same set of faces/names from my gallery, just hit Shuffle.
3. I don't like surprises that much anymore. Please ask/notify me first before drawing any of my OCs & don't spam me with fanart unless explicitly accepted.
Taking this one I liked from @/vulpineapple
digital art OR traditional art?
I can do both but have been gravitating towards trad stuff only to refine it later digitally.
original concepts/characters OR fanart/canon characters?
Always been oc-centric. Isn't drawing canon characters just fanart though--
original fiction OR fanfiction?
I've actually never read original fiction- I've made bits of it or can't recall reading any, but it's mostly lore dev't hell or worldbuilding. I stopped reading fanfics cold turkey maybe 2-3 years ago?
sketch OR lineart?
Sketching babyyyy! Though my lineart ends up being just as sketchy most times XD
coloring OR shading?
Depends on what I'm doing honestly! Maybe either?
handwritten signature OR text signature?
Definitely written cause my current big, sharp logo IS handwritten! I made it 2 years ago! :D
But sometimes if the piece is too small or crowded for that I just use a shorthand sig ^^
shrink canvas OR add a filter before posting?
I don't do either. (Y'all what do you mean by this tho???)
messy art OR clean art?
My art's always been messy, I just painstakingly clean it the longer I work on it lmao
bright colors OR muted colors?
Muted :3
THERE IS ALWAYS AN EXCEPTION TO THE RULE IN MY HOUSE HAHAHA
warm colors OR cold colors?
Warm. Unless it's a specific character/subject/whatever then the opposite.
graphics tablet with screen OR no screen?
My graphics tab is screenless and I have an ipad soooo...
humans OR non-humans?
Mainly human(oid)s.
I have a set of nonhuman characters I can kinda fall back on if my human ones bore me.
fur OR scales?
Fur I guess?
Surprisingly haven't attempted scales properly or don't have a character in recent memory that has 'em.
edgy characters OR wholesome characters?
Insert El Dorado meme
high-poly models OR low-poly models?
Unfortunately I never had the chance or clear headedness to allow myself to learn 3d modeling for long nor do I have the software to, but maybe low-poly since I believe those are less taxing on device specs.
music OR podcasts while drawing?
That's a very good question honestly because I don't seem to zone in with music as much as I used to, but I CAN focus with narrative audio while drawing shit and I find it so weird now.
