Every now and then I try to come back to this big bad boy but I simply can't find the strength. It's just taking up space in our closet and balcony now.

It's a life sized, semi-realistic Yanmega sculpture I decided to tackle in the first half of 2020. The tail itself is 120cm and the total is around 180cm. It's mostly styrofoam, but with a bunch of iron wire, paper pulp, cardboard and other nonsense in there as well.

And it has 3 increasingly fatal flaws:

1. Its center of weight is off, so it either will fall backwards on its tail, or is too heavy to stand at all. The solution would be to have supporting structure for the tail, but I don't know how to make one that looks decent and I'm out of funds to build it.
2. Its support structure broke. Running through the middle section and halfway up the tail is a pipe that's supposed to hold those two pieces together, but I overestimated it and the whole thing broke in half. It's stuck inside the two sections so I'm unable to insert a replacement even if I had one.
3. The old wings got ruined and it needs new ones that are not too heavy for it and not so frail they would break, crumple or tear during transport. Images of the old wings are somewhere in the wips.

It's an inescapable pain in my butt because I spent so much time, effort and money making that I can't throw it away. But I don't have what it takes to finish it, and it's too unfinished to sell as is. My only DD and for what 😭
