Ehhh it's so cheesy... But it's not my fault really so I'm trying to stop myself from deleting this later.

It's our 10th anniversary with my partner. On this day 10 years ago he asked me out by trading me some nicknamed Luvdiscs in Pokemon XY, and we both stepped through our balcony doors at the same time so then we were both "out together". :'> We had to come up with things like that, because he lived 6500 kilometers away on the other side of the Atlantic ocean, and that would still be the case for the following 2 years. So much has changed since then, but I remember sending messages through tumblr and facetiming with poor internet connection on Skype like it was yesterday. And I still have the Luvdiscs in my Y save file.

Since it's our 10th, I wanted to make something for it. We're not great at celebrating things and I've had too many health issues recently for us to plan for a trip or something, but I had this idea to do a little something with the Luvdiscs. I just had the visual in my head and went for it. This piece is more graphic design than it is art, and it doesn't mean much to anyone else, but I figured I'd share it to also share the story behind it.

"Kulta" is a Finnish word with a double meaning. It's a cutesy word for one's partner similar to "darling" or "honey", but it also literally means "gold".
