Here's the whole gang! As far as I know. 💧
It's a delicate balance with OC tattoos isn't it. It has to be interesting enough to be worth having, but not so complex that drawing it becomes a complete hassle. And the scars! I was dying inside knowing their body recently got a bunch of scars and now there was going to be tattoos as well?? It relieved me to notice that they pretty much disappear under the tattoos, so drawing them becomes pointless. You can do it if you want, but there may not be any benefit.
Tharinas is a place of shapeshifters. It's common for different species to have more than one form that usually have different attributes from one another. Transformation coming with an identity shift is also not unusual, even if the grand majority of shifters don't dissociate between identities like Arb's DID system does. Pure aesthetic changes are less common as a natural ability, but more so as an artificially implemented feature that a skilled enchanter can provide.
Arb's system got the tattoos so that they could have their own appearances when they front. In Tharinas that's something of a standard for beings with multiple souls inhabiting the same body, so for someone with DID it can work just as well. If they want that. Arb hopes this will help them get along better and alleviate the dysphoria, as well as make it easier for outsiders to interact with the system accordingly. Evvie thought it was a good idea too even though she can already tell from mannerisms alone who's on the driver's seat. And Evvie is the only outsider whose opinion matters to this bunch one bit.
It's a relatively new thing for them, so I'm still figuring out all of its effects.
