Bio:

Most of Kopa’s origin story remains the same according to Fanon lore, however Kopa isn’t the first born, “Fluffy” is, who is a fragile lion named Roho. Roho was too weak and wasn’t interested in ruling as they grew up into a young cub, and so in the second litter Simba and Nala had consisting of Kopa and Kiara, they put Kopa up to the task. Kopa took this into stride quite nicely, showing great promise to his family.

Kopa gets ambushed later on by Zira and she therefore gets exiled with the rest of Scar’s followers, leaving the young prince traumatised and petrified to leave his den. The only one to get him to leave his bedding, was Afua; Kovu’s twin brother.

The two quickly became best friends and would later go on to have many adventures, as well as making their own new best friend, a hyena called Asante, which later leads to truly unifying hyenas and lions in the Pridelands.

Kopa grows up and has a yearning to explore, later confining in his parents that he wished to step down from the thrine and start his own kingdom elsewhere. Rulership of the Pridelands was slowly beginning to become ever so overwhelming to Kopa and he realised deep down he wasn’t suited for ruling such a large kingdom.

Kopa later on has his own kingdom near the Pridelands called the Nyota Pride. He later takes on a mate from one of the Outlanders who decide to leave the Pridelands and join him.
