I've been debating what to use as my first upload on here, but as the months ticked by I realised I'm never going to get anywhere if I don't start with something, anything. So, here this is, a couple sketches I did while I was sick last week in a new artstyle I'm developing. Math class really is the best place for that, isn't it. I don't normally post sketches, but since I struggle with finishing drawings, I figured why not start with these and at least get to share it. The other option would be to anxiously hoard them like I did before. So here goes nothing
So first up in the upper left corner we got Kovu, just with the addition of two more scars to make it more accurate to Zira's strike.
Next to and beneath him are two of the quadruplets he has with Kiara. Mkuu is the third-born and the fastest member in his older brother's lion guard. His design is especially subject to change since I'm not satisfied with it yet. Saka is the last-born and kind of the runt of the litter, but his smaller frame helps him later when he's part of the hunting group. Makes it easier to stalk in the grass, compared to when you're bigger.
Considering how little 300 words are, I'll keep the rest short.
At the bottom we got Kiara (first sketch of her I'm proud of) and Zira (not so proud of), above them is my version of Uru, then cub Scar, further up I played around with a new design. And on the right we got my sona and a lion I don't have much on yet, but more is to come eventually!
